Wind Zones In The United States Map are Provided by FEMAClick link to get more information. DO YOU NEED A TORNADO SHELTER?
On the basis of 40 years of tornado history, the United States has been divided into four zones that reflect the number and strength of extreme windstorms.
Zone 1V has experienced the most and the strongest tornado activity.
Zone III has experienced significant tornado activity and includes coastal areas that are susceptible to hurricanes.
It is very important to note that if you live in a high risk area, extreme winds will occur and a precast reinforced concrete structure can help protect you and your family from injury or death caused by the dangerous forces of extreme winds.
